Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may use fixjson.org and what limitations apply to the free browser-based developer tools.

Effective date

These Terms of Service are effective May 15, 2026. By using fixjson.org, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Free developer tools

fixjson.org provides browser-based tools for repairing JSON syntax, validating JSON, formatting or minifying JSON, comparing structured data, validating YAML, and encoding text. The tools are provided for convenience and debugging. They do not replace your own review, security process, schema validation, legal review, or production testing.

Local browser processing

The core tool workflows are designed to process pasted input in your browser. You are responsible for deciding what data is safe to paste into the site. Do not paste secrets, passwords, private keys, access tokens, regulated personal data, or confidential production payloads unless you have removed or masked sensitive values.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to attack, overload, probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with fixjson.org or its hosting providers. Do not attempt to bypass technical controls, inject malicious code, abuse advertising systems, or use the tools for unlawful activity.

No warranty

The site is provided as is and as available. Automatic repair can change syntax, but it cannot guarantee that the output is correct for your application, API contract, business rules, or security requirements. Always review repaired output before using it in production.

Advertising and third-party services

The site may use hosting, analytics, and advertising services. Third-party services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies. The Privacy Policy explains local processing, analytics, advertising cookies, and contact details.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, fixjson.org and its owner are not liable for lost profits, lost data, security incidents, business interruption, or other damages that result from using or relying on the tools. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated from time to time. If you have questions about these terms, contact contact@fixjson.org.
